February Business Meeting Minutes

April 14th, 2003

 

Meeting called to order at 6:40 by President Rogue River Renegade.  The meeting was held at Angelo’s Pizza Parlor with 20 members and guests present.

 

Minutes from the March meeting were approved as written on a motion by Long Henry Thompson.  2nd Barbarosa Mike.  Motion carried

 

Treasures report given by Long Henry Thompson.  Sweetwater Jack made a motion to accept the report as given.  2nd. Col. Gilliam.  Motion carried.  Complete report attached to written minutes.

 

TG REPORT: Colonel reported no news.

 

ASHLAND GUN CLUB:  Just Bill reported that help will be needed at the gun club to replace roofing lost in the last wind storm.  No date set yet for that project.

 

REPORT ON SHOOTS:   Sweetwater Jack said that Merlin Marauders had 21 shooters and 3 stages.  Klamath Cowboys:  No one attended.  JSR shoot, good shoot with 28 shooters.

 

BY-LAWS COMMITTEE:   Long Henry reported that the final draft was finished and was given to the executive committee who will go over them. Copies of the proposed By-Laws will be sent out to all members who have paid up dues.   Members whose dues are paid up will be able to vote on them.

 

NEW BUSINESS:  Scenario writers for April shoot, Cinona Hawk, Ima Loden, Long Henry, Dawson and Colonel Gilliam.

 

Next annual shoot meeting will be on April 29th at Morris’s.

 

Jed I Knight reported that the web sight was up and running.  Harley said that cards would be passed out at the next shoot to paid members, to access certain sights.  For non-members a different card would be handed out.

Jed said that the web sight will have a forum which will include, Town Social, Trading Post, Business Meeting and Annual Shoot.  This is a benefit for all JSR members.  Jed I Knight web master and Harley Davidson our special thanks for all your work on getting this up and running.

 

No other business to discuss Gaye Abandon made a motion to adjourn.  2nd H. Apple Bob.  Motion carried
